My Story
I started creating art because I wanted to see real stories in the spaces around me—stories that looked and sounded like the people who lived there. Over time, I realized that art could do more than decorate a space; it could transform it. It could make people feel seen, connected, and proud of where they come from. My journey has been about turning that idea into a practice. I’ve worked with students, communities, and fellow artists to build projects that speak from the heart. Every brushstroke, color, and design choice becomes a piece of someone’s story. This is what keeps me inspired—using art as a language that everyone can understand.
My Philosophy
My philosophy is simple: create with meaning, teach with purpose, and honor the voices that make each community unique. Art should feel alive, not distant. It should reflect the soul of the space it lives in. Thus, I believe that art should always belong to the people. It’s not about perfection—it’s about connection. My Process
Every project begins with listening. I take time to learn about the people, the place, and the stories that shape them. From there, I guide artists through the creative process—starting with the basics of art and design, then moving into hands-on creation that blends skill with personal expression. I focus on collaboration and authenticity. Each step—from concept to final piece—is about staying true to the message and the community it represents. The result is art that doesn’t just fill a room but transforms it into something meaningful and alive.
